Dick, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you again for the excellent job you did as our DJ and Master of Ceremonies at our wedding.  Your professionalism and experience were evident throughout the planning and during our wedding.  As I was enjoying our big day, it was obvious to me that the DJ/MC plays an integral and very important role in making the wedding a smooth and care free event.  The MC/DJ is really like the director of a movie and is the “glue” that holds the whole thing together.   Your many years in television production clearly give you a big advantage over others that simply play music.

I knew we had a winner in you when you made two trips to our home prior to our event. The first trip was to introduce yourself, your background, your capabilities (music portfolio), and your (very reasonably priced) contract.   The second trip was to nail down the details of what music should be played while guests are being seated, what song queues the flower girl to begin walking, etc. etc.  You also wrote down the names of all the participants for the introduction of the wedding party, and then provided us with a written script via email.   In between the two trips to our home, you conducted a reconnaissance mission to the venue several weeks prior to the event to scope out the site and determine which sound equipment would be required.  You also met with the venue manager and took care of many logistical and important details such as the location of speakers and power receptacles.

On our wedding day you arrived at the venue early.  You met with the officiant, the photographer and the videographer and seamlessly worked with all of them to make sure everything was perfect.  We couldn’t be happier with how things went, and we give you our highest recommendation.

Hi Dick.  I'm sorry that I did not get a chance to speak with you after our reception ended.  We just got back from our honeymoon a couple of days ago, and are adjusting to all the post-wedding chaos.

I just wanted to say thank you for your service at our wedding reception.  My wife and I were very pleased with everything from the planning stages to the actual reception.  Besides that, I thought it was pretty cool that I was able to get Captain 20 to DJ/MC my wedding!  We plan to recommend you in the future to anyone else we might know
who needs a DJ at their event.
